The village is situated on a sunny terrace on Monte Generoso and enjoys a mild climate. It is overlooked by the pyramid-like silhouette of Monte St. Agata. Its territory extends up to the summit of Monte Generoso. Tombs have been found from both the Bronze Age and the Roman Period, as well as a column dating back to several centuries before Christ.

- Keys for the Residenza must be picked up at the hotel Park Hotel Rovio (700 metres).
- A late check-in is not possible.
- Payment will be done in the Park Hotel Rovio.
- In case of an early departure, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
- Rooms Tell 3 and Tell 4 are equipped with a small kitchenette. The use of the kitchenette is only possible at an additional cost per day and must be announced when making the reservation (comments field).
